Bahamas Cruise

My wife and I decided to take a cruise for the first time. We left from Miami, and went to the Bahamas, Coco Cay, and then finished our trip in Key West. We had a blast and it was good to be away from the hectic life for a little while, but all's well that ends well. Here's a few shots from our trip.

Photo of the Month

I've decided to start a "Photo of the Month" post every month, where I'll post a new image, which I think stands out.

Shah Photography Intro

I would like to give you a little introduction to Shah Photography which you can also find at our website http://www.shah-photography.com.

Shah Photography is a Wedding and Photography Studio, which is located in Northern Virginia. Shah Photography is a culmination of a hobby, turned to passion, turned into another part of life.

Hasnain was instilled by the love of photography from the first day he picked up a camera and began taking pictures of everything around him. He loves to see people in their happiest of moments, wishing; time would stand still. With that in mind, he captures that moment of happiness and preserves it forever. Having a passion for photography has allowed him to gain experience in wedding photography, portraiture and graphic design in both photo editing and full color printing. His passion has turned into what is now Shah Photography. Shah Photography would not have been made possible, without the support of his lovely and caring wife, who is also his main inspiration for his photography.

Being in the Information Technology field for many years, Hasnain approaches every shoot with a technical yet artistic mind, hoping to preserve every moment with stunning beauty and detail through the use of high quality equipment, while keeping a calm and comfortable atmosphere.

Influenced by the portraiture and classic wedding style of Monte Zucker. The wondrous creativity of Mark Ridout, and the technical artistry of Eddie Tapp; Hasnain has used this inspiration, and many more as a guide to better his techniques.
Shah Photography specializes in Indian wedding and portraiture photography. Indian weddings are full of color, emotion and amazing visual expression. Capturing every aspect of the day is a passion of ours.

Our mission is to make your time with us as valuable and precious from the day we first meet and for many years to come.

Thank you
Hasnain

Photo of the Month May 2007

Here is the Photo of the Month for May 2007. It was taken at Oatlands Plantation in Leesburg, VA. I've done some post processing on it to give it the "300" look. I thought it was an interesting perspective of two generations. The great oak in the background has been around for many, many years and is known as "the living glory of Oatlands."

Photo of the Month April 2007

Here is the Photo of the Month for April 2007. It was taken at Meadowlark Gardens in northern Virginia. The gardens are absolutely beautiful and have many photo taking opportunities. This is a picture of an oak tree whose shadow was being cast from the high sun. I decided to convert it to B&W, because it gave it a classic look and there was no color which added to the overall picture.

Photo of the Month March 2007

Here is the Photo of the Month for March 2007. This was taken at Oatlands Plantation. These are two of the oldest Japanese Maples, aged over 100 years. The building directly behind them is the old greenhouse and the building in the background is the mansion on the property.
